"Mitzpeh Ramon"

Mitzpeh Ramon is a panoramic image shot on the edge of Israel's Ramon Crater in the Negev Desert. The small town of Mitzpeh Ramon sits on the cliff above the "Crater", Machtesh Ramon. The Machtesh is not an "impact crater" but rather an "erosion cirques" or box canyon. It is the largest of all the Machteshim in the world, which all happen to be in the Negev and Sinai deserts.
